A party is gearing up in Hebron, where everyone is welcome.
Country Square Plaza will be the location of the 2nd Annual Hebron Block Party. The Chamber of Commerce is hosting the event, which is a celebration of small-town living. Last year’s gathering was so successful it is returning for another entire day of food and fun.
The party this year includes an Artisan Market featuring handmade goods by local artisans, and a chance for consumers to support local businesses. A variety of food trucks will have treats to appeal to everyone, and a cornhole tournament will be a friendly competition where participants have a chance to win prizes.
Other planned activities include a bounce house for the littlest partygoers, a beer garden where adults can sit, relax, and enjoy a flavorful brew, and live performances that will take place all day.
Hebron is a small town that only began to grow in 1863 when the construction of the Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, Chicago and St. Louis Railroad made access easier. Hebron is also a gateway to the Grand Kankakee Marsh and the opportunity to hunt there.
The party is scheduled for Saturday, June 6, from 12.00 noon until 8.00 pm, on the Plaza near Pav’s. The event is family friendly and admission is free. This type of event benefits from the publicity it receives when organizers use poster printing to create advertising.
