Hebron celebrates birthday over two days

The nation’s birthday is coming up, and Hebron plans to celebrate with events over two days.

The fun begins with a fireworks display beginning at dusk, and an America 250 concert in the high school auditorium.

The following day is packed with activities. They kick off with a free pancake breakfast at the Methodist Church, and a 5K run that starts a few minutes later. The main event, a parade, starts at 10.00 am, and will be followed by a flag raising. Everyone will enjoy the next event, which is the Turtle Derby, held in the parking lot of the First Church.

The Fireworks 5K begins and finishes at Hebron Middle School, where participants will be able to claim their awards immediately rather than waiting for the end of the race. There is one water stop on the course, which runners will pass twice, and restrooms are inside the school. Runners may park in the lot and remain to watch the parade. When they plan events like this, organizers can use banner printing to create decorations, as well as markers for the racecourse.

The fireworks and concert are set for July 3, with the auditorium opening at 5.30 pm and the performance starting at 6.00 pm. The pancake breakfast runs from 7.00 am until 9.00 am, and the 5K begins at 7.15 am. The flag raising will be held at the American Legion Memorial immediately after the parade, and the Turtle Derby starts at noon.
