An awards gala will be held next month in Oakbrook Terrace at the Drury Lane Theatre and Conference Center to celebrate the winners of the Best and Brightest Companies to Work For competition in Chicago.
The National Association for Business Resources presented these awards to honor companies whose human resources practices and engagement of employees is deemed to be exceptional. Among the criteria used to evaluate companies are enrichment and retention of employees, recognition and achievement of employees, benefits and compensation, and work-life balance. An independent research firm evaluates the nominees.
One company that has won this prestigious honor for three years in a row is Automated Business Designs, Inc. (ABD). The company is a developer of its own staffing software.
The areas in which the company scored well were employee achievement and recognition; employee enrichment, engagement, and retention; and compensation and benefits. The company is highly committed to its employees, offering complimentary gym memberships and distinctive health and wellness programs. There are also many opportunities provided for socialization, such as group outings, celebrations, lunch and learns, and friendly competitions.
The awards gala will be held on Friday, July 27.
