President and CEO of the BBB, Steve Bernas, said that the Torch Award is the highest award presented by the BBB to a company. He added that although the BBB seal is that of a better business, the winners of the Torch Awards demonstrate extraordinary standards of behavior and trust. He said these are the companies that demonstrate attributes of community, customers, culture, and character.
