Two events will be taking place of the next week in Downers Grove, both of which may be of interest to residents of nearby Oakbrook Terrace.
Poster printing can be used to promote such events and their fundraising efforts.
Boy Scout Troop 80 of Downers Grove will be hosting a Pancake Breakfast at the American Legion Post on Saratoga Avenue. Prices for breakfast are $8.00 per person for those 11 years of age and older, $5.00 for those between the age of 5 and 10, and free for those under five years old. All proceeds will go to support the purchase of new camping gear for the Boy Scouts. This breakfast will be held this Sunday, August 27 beginning at 8:00 am.
Also, Moose Cruise Nights are being hosted by Downtown Downers Grove Management and the Downers Grove Loyal Order of Moose. Among the vehicles welcome to these evenings are hot roads, classic cars, and muscle cars. Those who wish to participate in these evenings are suggested to donate $10 per car.
The event runs from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm and cars may enter the show lot at Forest and Warren Avenues beginning at 3:30 pm. There will be live music at the Main Street Train Station from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm with concessions available on site. The last Cruise Night will be held next Friday, September 1 with proceeds of the event going to Downers Grove Moose Lodge 1535.
