The Drury Lane Theatre in Oakbrook Terrace has announced its shows for the upcoming season.
Brochure printing can be used to promote and advertise such shows throughout a community.
Next month, Ron Hawking will pay tribute to iconic stars in the music industry, including Frankie Valli, Billy Joel, Ray Charles, and Frank Sinatra, as live music returns to the theater. His performances will be on Saturday, August 21 at 7:00 pm, and Sunday, August 22 at 2:00 pm.
In the fall, the theater will be presenting “Forward Plaid.” This is the story of a young barbershop quartet given the chance to perform in the afterlife having met a tragic death on the way to a performance. The show is a nostalgic tribute to the music of the 1950s, with such well-known songs as “Love is a Many Splendored Thing” and “Three Coins in a Fountain.” This show will run from Friday, September 17 through Sunday, November 7.
Ending the calendar year will be Irving Berlin’s “Holiday Inn,” which is based on the film by the same name. This is the story of how an innkeeper, with the help of a local schoolteacher, brings entertainment to his small town in Connecticut. This show will run from Friday, November 17 continuing into 2022, finishing on Sunday, January 9.
