Five leading providers of laundromat equipment have partnered with the Coin Laundry Association (CLA) based in Oakbrook Terrace to sponsor an initiative that will benefit the entire industry.
The Strategic Corporate Ally program of the CLA is designed to strengthen the services provided to members of the association and to ensure that the industry will grow and prosper. The program includes opportunities for networking, educational resources, and other business services such as the LaundryCares Foundation, which provides library corners for laundromats. Such programs may also look for assistance from local Print shops to help promote the services and benefits laundromats provide for the community.
The organizations involved in this program are Laundrylux at the Premier level, and Dexter Laundry, Girbau North America Alliance Laundry Systems, and Cents, at the Elite level.
President and CEO of the CLA, Brian Wallace, expressed his thrill in announcing the inaugural class of Strategic Corporate Allies. He said the visionary and generous companies showing their commitment to this program will enhance the work of the association, and enable everyone involved to work together in a more strategic fashion.
Wallace added that the industry is currently experiencing unprecedented change, so it is important for the CLA to evolve to adapt with this. He said the new program will enable the organization to better support its members as they navigate the future.
