Oakbrook Terrace offers new specialty pump

The Wilden SafeGuard is being introduced by Wilden Pump and Engineering Company, part of PSG Dover, headquartered in Oakbrook Terrace.

This product is an Internet of Things (IoT) double-diaphragm pump operated by air that provides a remote alert system and performance monitoring. It is a comprehensive pump-monitoring system that remotely records and tracks major performance indicators of air-operated double-diaphragm (AODD) pumps and alerts customers to leaks, total stroke count, and stroke rate. These alerts are provided in real-time to indicate any changes in the equipment that may be a sign of failure in a component.

Brochure printing is often used to provide more details about the use and advantages of such equipment.

The Wilden SafeGuard can also be used for preventative maintenance plans as it can store maintenance records which can be used monitor and identify patterns in the equipment. One dedicated software system can be used to monitor a fleet of or single AODD pumps. Data on pump-performance is stored in the cloud so that it can be accessed by a user through an online portal or a secure app on a smartphone.

The AODD pump was invented by Jim Wilden in 1955 and revolutionized the pumping industry. Wilden Pump and Engineering Company now is a leader in specialty pumps and offers an extensive line of reliable, safe, and energy-efficient AODD pumps.
