Oakbrook Terrace merger to create global moving entity
Two leading providers of globing relocation and moving, SIRVA Inc. of Oakbrook Terrace and BGRS, will be creating a combined company to be known as SIRVA BGRS, Inc.
Such new companies often require stationery printing services as new letterheads, business cards, and other corporate materials are usually needed.
According to a press release, this new company is planning to offer robust technology solutions and diverse product offerings so that customers will have access to a wide range of options for household goods and relocation services, best-in-class technology solutions, and greater program flexibility. The company also plans to increase the number of employees to provide extensive coverage in local areas and provide customers with a larger combined supply chain that will enable greater efficiency.
The CEO of SIRVA, Tom Oberdorf, said this combination is a natural one that will allow his company to expand and evolve to meet the needs of customers around the world. He said that he is looking forward to working with BGRS and combining their expertise to create a single company in a position to deliver greater value to its customers. The CEO of BGRS, Traci Morris, said the two companies have an approach that is focused on the customer, so there is a great deal of excitement about joining forces.
The combined company will have its headquarters in Oakbrook Terrace with Oberdorf serving as CEO.
