The Wheel Pro STRIDE golf bag will be unveiled by Zero Friction, LLC of Oakbrook Terrace at the PGA Show in Orlando later this month.
This golf bag is the first of its kind, as it a lightweight and autonomous electric golf bag. John Iacono, founder and president of Zero Friction, said that the bag is like having one’s own private caddy that can travel anywhere. He added that it is complete with many features and follows golfers throughout the course. Such features are often covered in greater detail with flyer printing.
The STRIDE weighs 15 pounds and includes an intelligent gyroscopic control system for speed control, stability, and a soft start, as well as a remote control using Smart Follow Technology. All types of terrain including tall grass and steep uphill slopes can be handled by the bag.
Among the other features of the golf bag are a smart gearbox, an autobrake system, and a battery life of 35 to 45 holes. It can travel at an average speed of three miles per hour with a maximum speed of five miles per hour. It also features two waterproof pockets, 14 club dividers, one umbrella holder, two waterproof pockets, and a built-in cooler in addition to two invisible magnets to secure a Bluetooth speaker and rangefinder.
The PGA Show is at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando from January 24 to 27.
