Fox Valley Volkswagen of Schaumburg has been acquired by Castle Automotive Group (CAG), headquartered in Oakbrook Terrace.
CAG is a growing automotive retailer with nine locations and 14 dealerships in northwest Indiana and Illinois. It sells several brands of vehicles, including Subaru, Jeep, Lincoln, Ford, and Chrysler, among others.
CEO of CAG, Joe Castle, expressed his excitement about expanding in Illinois with Volkswagen of America, and in such an important market as Schaumburg. He said that the acquisition of Fox Valley Volkswagen will help to diversify the portfolio of the group and add to its reach in the market of the Midwest. He added that it will also increase the annual sales revenue of the group by $60m and also create 100 new jobs within the company and the community of Schaumburg. Many such positions, particularly those in sales, will require the need for business card printing.
Castle continued to say that the company is looking forward to being involved in the community, as Schaumburg has outstanding businesses and individuals. The company will continue to provide the level of service customers of Fox Valley Volkswagen have experienced for many years. The acquisition will also enable CAG to further invest in its many programs that offer a range of opportunities to facilitate the buying and selling of cars in the online market.
