Non-profit finds new location in Oakbrook Terrace area

The ReStore of Habitat for Humanity will be moving to Fox Run Commons in Naperville. This new location will no doubt be of benefit for those living in nearby Oakbrook Terrace.

Fox Run Commons is a shopping center near Route 34. The space to be occupied by Habitat for Humanity will cover 24,115 square feet. Habitat for Humanity expects to have 10 employees at the new location.

Banner printing can be used at such locations to announce the arrival of new tenants.

The ReStores from Habitat for Humanity accept gently used and new appliances, furniture, and building materials, and then sell these items to contractors, the public, and those who carry out home projects themselves. The proceeds from these sales are used by the organization to build affordable housing.

The executive director of the group, Jennifer Taff, said the group feels fortunate that it can relocate to Fox Run Commons, noting that its exact needs will be met by the layout and size of the space, and that there will be a warehouse in the back and a large display area in the front. She added that a steady stream of customers is expected as Fox Run has a strong anchor and many other shops and restaurants.

Habitat for Humanity expects to open the new location by late summer or early fall.
