The Table at Crate has recently opened at the Oak Brook store of Crate and Barrel. This restaurant is a result of a collaboration between the Cornerstone Restaurant Group and Crate and Barrel. Chef Bill Kim, a James Beard-nominated chef, is heading up the kitchen. Those from nearby Oakbrook Terrace will want to try out this new eatery, as it is an inaugural experience for the collaborators.
There are two levels of indoor and outdoor space that comprise the restaurant that bring together both the retail and dining experience. The space was designed to be reflective of the Crate and Barrel brand, while the innovative cuisine highlights the latest products from the store.
CEO of Crate and Barrel, Neela Montgomery, said that the store has always been a destination for those who enjoy entertaining so that the Table at Crate provides an experience of the brand that is more engaging for its customers. Banner printing can be used in areas surrounding such establishments so that shoppers and residents become aware of such new concepts.
President of Cornerstone Restaurant Group, Josh Zadikoff, expressed his excitement about this new experience for guests and customers that connects the everyday dining experience with creative food. He added that there are many more opportunities for this retail and restaurant space, as there are plans for special interactive programming at the restaurant.
