Duff Entertainment and the village of Oak Brook are partnering to hold the annual Taste of Oak Brook event in July. Residents of nearby Oakbrook Terrace may be interested in this special event.
The highlight of the event will be the return of live music featuring Sixteen Candles. This is a group that brings nostalgia and energy from the 1980s to the stage. The group travels the country and its concerts are typically sold out, so this will be a rare opportunity to see and hear the group at no cost.
There will also be a new beer garden next to the stage offering a new beverage service and experience for attendees. Traditional food vendors from selected Oak Brook restaurants will be on hand, in addition to some new offerings from the area. Such events provide ideal opportunities for vendors to promote their cuisine and establishments with banner printing.
There will be a limited number of privately catered cabanas. These will offer complimentary beverage service, catering from Maggiano’s, complimentary parking, a private set of restrooms, and exclusive stage and fireworks viewing areas.
The Taste of Oak Brook will take place on Monday, July 3 at the Village Sports Core fields. Gates will open at 3:00 pm with food services beginning at 4:00 pm. There will be fireworks at approximately 9:30 pm.
