Mexican eatery now open in Oakbrook Terrace area

The seventh location of Fat Rosie’s in the Chicago area is now open in Oak Brook on Butterfield Road. Residents of nearby Oakbrook Terrace who enjoy Mexican food might be interested in this new eating establishment. This new eatery has a private event space and two patios and will feature live music.

Rosie’s serves a range of appetizers that include Mexican street corn and empanadas as well as tacos and soups and salads. Specialties of the restaurant feature Cochinita Pibil, which is a slow braised pork dish; Pollo al Chipotle, which is grilled chicken breast with grilled zucchini and onions; and Torta a de Milanesa, a dish of breaded chicken and refried beans.

Such new eateries in a community can promote themselves to residents and visitors with flyer printing.

The chief executive officer of the chain, John Iannucci, said that Rosie’s is a welcoming and lively place that both corporate crowds and families enjoy. He said that the restaurant is ideal for holding a business lunch one day and a birthday dinner filled with energy the next. He added that he is looking forward to sharing their version of a Mexican fiesta with the community.

The other locations of Rosie’s in the Chicago area are in Lincolnwood, Lincolnshire, Frankfort, Rosemont, Naperville, and Schaumburg. The chain plans to expand further in Illinois but did not indicate exact locations.
