An Americas Rising Star Dealmaker Award from M & A Atlas has been given to Tom DeSimone of Prairie Capital Advisors based in Oakbrook Terrace. Prairie Capital Advisors is a corporate investment and advisory banking firm.

DeSimone has worked at Prairie Capital for the past 10 years and leads several initiatives and teams. He is a CPA and has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, employee stock ownership plans (ESOP) for middle-market companies, corporate valuation, financial opinions, and other services related to investment banking advising. He also works with companies and boards of directors on mature ESOP planning and sustainability.
He attended the University of Illinois at Chicago and holds both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in accounting. He also holds FINRA Series 63 and 79 securities licenses.
