The fall meeting and speaker schedule for 2017 of the Oak Brook Trout Unlimited Chapter has recently been announced.
The general public and members are invited to attend all meetings, which are held at the Central Park West Building of the Oak Brook Recreation Center, meaning residents in nearby Oakbrook Terrace will no doubt want to come to this convenient location.
The first speaker will Lisa Walter, from the Great Lakes Fishery Commission, taking about ‘Reconnecting Streams’. A critical part of the conservation work of Trout Unlimited is to remove the barriers that block fish from the rivers and streams in the United States. The talk will take place this Wednesday, September 20.
The speaker for October will be Javier Guevara talking about his fly fishing adventures in South America. An avid fly fisherman and instructor of fly casting, Guevara will take attendees at the meeting on a fly fishing tour through Galapagos, Colombia, Ecuador, Argentina, and Mexico. The talk will be on Wednesday, October 18.
The November meeting will feature Dave Barron talking about ‘Driftless Area Winter Fly Fishing’, and will be held on Wednesday November 15.
Flyer printing companies could be used by organizations like this to create Flyers with general information about their events, and greater details about the topic of the talks and background of the speakers.
