The challenging themed escape rooms of Escape The Room are coming to Oak Brook Center this month. Those in nearby Oakbrook Terrace will want to travel the short distance to immerse themselves in these rooms that are filled with interactive puzzles.
Escape The Room is 10,000 square feet in size and has five unique escape rooms, with titles such as The Clock Tower, The Theater, Three-Mile Island, and The Dig. There are secrets, settings, a storyline, and an escape route that is special to each room. Participants enter the room and have 60 minutes to solve various puzzles with clues hidden in the rooms or in the narratives of the characters.
The team from Escape The Room said that over $1m was spent to build the location in Oak Brook to provide the most authentic atmosphere with the best state-of-the-art technology possible. The team added that it is excited that this location will be opening in the foremost shopping destination in the western suburbs of Chicago.
Escape The Room started operating in 2013, and has almost two dozen locations across the country, including Philadelphia, Detroit, San Antonio, and New York City.
