The annual Construction Expo and Safety Conference will take place at the Drury Lane Conference Center in Oakbrook Terrace this March. This conference serves the construction industry and offers opportunities for professional networking, safety education, and business-to-business commerce.
The first day of the event will be Safety Conference sessions that will focus on lockout/tagout, fall protection, electrical personal protective equipment, and excavation operations, among other topics. The second day will be the Construction Expo tradeshow which will have over 100 exhibitors of material and equipment vendors, general contractors, and providers of professional services in the Chicago area commercial construction industry.
The second day will also have 12 more safety sessions that will cover OSHA inspections, safety issues in the workplace, mental health concerns, and suspension trauma. Attendees will be able to earn educational credits for the sessions they attend at the conference.
At the end of the event, there will be an after party with more networking opportunities and live music.
Additional benefits of the event will be free parking at the conference center, a buffet lunch, access to quality construction professionals, and valuable information. Such information is often made available to attendees with brochure printing and other printing services.
The Construction Expo and Safety Conference will be held on Monday March 3 and Tuesday March 4. The event is hosted by the Chicagoland Construction Safety Council and the Association of Subcontractors & Affiliates Chicago.
