The Hearing Health Center in Oak Brook, a short distance from Oakbrook Terrace, has been chosen by Siemens AG as the location at which its new line of hearing aids will be based.
According to the founder of the Hearing Health Center, Dr. Ronna Fisher Au.D., these devices have not been released to the public, so attendees will benefit from one-on-one demonstrations with a representative from Siemens. Audiologists from the Center will also be on hand to show these devices.
Dr. Fisher says what makes these devices stand out from others is that they end listener fatigue, which results from people taking great effort to clearly understand conversations in very noisy environments, such as theaters and other large venues where background noisy can be overpowering. She added that this device is a major technological advancement.
The Hearing Health Center was chosen by Siemens to demonstrate these devices as it has been involved in the hearing aid industry for more than three decades. The state of Illinois has voted it as the best audiology practice for the past three years, and recently gave it an award for outstanding audiology service.
The unveiling will take place from 8:00 am until 7:00 pm. from April 6 through April 8. Siemens might look to create Brochures with more information about the features and benefits of the new product.
