Acai berry bowl eatery opens in Oakbrook Terrace area

PureBerry Acai Bowls which makes soft serve acai from fresh berries is now open in Naperville. Residents of nearby Oakbrook Terrace who enjoy this smoothie treat may want to try out this new establishment.

Dorothy Sisnett and Neepa Mehta are the owners of the new eatery. Mehta said that they can typically get one of their soft serve acai bowls to a customer within 30 seconds and are a health-conscious meal alternative.

Signature bowls at PureBerry include the PBJ bowl, which mixes raspberries and cacao nibs, and has a drizzling of peanut butter and the island bowl which includes toasted coconut, pineapple, and mango. Customers can create their own bowls and use a variety of toppings such as chia seeds, flaxseed, and granola. PureBerry also serves smoothies for those who prefer to drink their soft serve acai rather than eat it.

Such new establishments often turn to flyer printing to help promote a unique business throughout town and surrounding communities.

Mehta and Sisnett had previously owned a Nothing Bundt Cakes store and were brainstorming about how they could sell soft serve acai, which was appealing to both of them and enable them to have more control over their business.

Fundraising opportunities are also offered by PureBerry Acai Bowls to benefit organizations both in Naperville and surrounding and nearby communities. They plan to offer a food truck and expand in other ways for the future.
