The annual Bantu Fest is scheduled to return for its sixth year near Morton Grove this summer.
Each year, thousands of people from more than 30 cultures and countries, including the USA, Africa, South America, and the Caribbean attend the festival to offer or experience a diverse variation of food, drinks, arts and crafts, activities, and workshops.
Anyone who wishes to register for the event can buy tickets online at $5 per individual to attend on the first day and $10 per person for the second day. Registration will still remain open on the last day of the event for those who arrive last minute.
People who arrive from Morton Grove and other surrounding areas are welcome to attend this festive event. The 2020 Bantu Fest will feature a wide variety of foods, beverages, arts and crafts displays, activities for children, drumming, live music from international and local artists, dancing, workshops, and vendor booths that sell a diverse number of goods. Banner printing is often utilized by vendors who plan to attend festivals in order to highlight their booths with attention-grabbing decorations.
The sixth annual Bantu Fest will take place near the University of Chicago in Midway Plaisance Park on Saturday, July 25 to Sunday, July 26 from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm on both days.
