This March, the Morton Grove Public Library will host the Joyous Japan Presentation by Brian Michalski, who will share stories of his travels throughout the Land of the Rising Sun.
Joyous Japan will be an in-person presentation from Michalski of Endless Passport, who has visited over 60 countries in a span of five years. His website, Endless Passport, chronicles his backpacking journey around the globe. He is also a keen educator and engaging storyteller who shares his travel experiences at hundreds of events at public libraries, senior citizen facilities, and other community centers.
The March presentation will feature Michalski’s journey to Japan, where he spent five weeks exploring the country. Utilizing his original photography and vivid storytelling, he will recount his journey aboard the Shinkansen bullet train, hopping from bustling cities to quaint countryside. The audience will learn about Japan’s rich history, complex culture, and delicious cuisine. Brian’s interactions with the locals and what lessons or advice he learned will also be highlighted.
