Upcoming event to give boost to local business

Morton Grove Days are taking place this year over Independence Day weekend.

This three-day festival is set to feature a carnival with games and rides, a food court, a beer garden, and a business showcase. Other activities will include ‘Touch a Truck’, and music from artists such as Band X, Bella Cain, and the Niles Township Summer Symphony. The opening ceremonies will take place at 7:00 pm on the first day of the event.

Of course, there will be extra special events taking place on July 4, such as a parade beginning at 2:30 pm and a fireworks display after dark.

Unlimited wrist bands will be available for $25 for those who want to enjoy the carnival rides, and they are good for all three days. In addition, the beer garden has an entry fee of $2.

This should be a fine opportunity for local businesses to showcase their products and services to the greater community. Many of those Morton Grove companies may decide to invest in services such as banner printing to make their booths stand apart from the others.

Organizers of the event are still looking for volunteers, which is happening this year from July 3 to 5. Admission is free. To find out more about the various activities taking place, visit the official Morton Grove Days Commission website.
