Studio to host event for a special holiday

A local art studio will be holding a family-oriented lesson to celebrate Mother’s Day in early May. The event is sure to entertain Morton Grove residents.

Mother’s Day Family Paint Party is an activity where both adults and children are welcome to paint a picture with the guidance of a skilled instructor. It is recommended that children younger than age five do not participate. The subject of this piece will be flowers, along with a sunrise peeking over a valley. Flyer printing will often be a method of advertising used for similar events.

The venue for the class allows for guests to bring drinks along, however, they ask that everyone helps to maintain a safe environment. For this particular event, Board Eats will be offering a selection of charcuterie boards. Only those participating in the activity will be allowed to stay for it, as spectators are not allowed at this time due to safety guidelines.

There are three options for the surface of the painting. A 12x12 wood board/plank is $45. For $39 and $49 respectively, attendees can paint on a 16x20 piece of canvas, or a wood board/plank. The reservations can be made through the site for Painting with a Twist.

This event is at the Bottle and Bottega location in Park Ridge. The class will last from 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm on May 8.
