Morton Grove to host Halloween party for children

The Trunk or Treat Halloween Party is set to occur in Morton Grove in a few weeks’ time.

Organized and hosted by the Morton Grove Park District, this family-friendly event is designed for children between the ages of three and twelve. This way, kids can still enjoy Halloween activities while following the federal and state social distancing guidelines.

This family-friendly Halloween party will proceed as a drive-by event. Morton Grove families will remain in their vehicles for the duration of the event and receive candy from a parade of vehicles adorned with Halloween-themed decorations. Other perks include a pumpkin patch and character greetings. The organizers of similar holiday events frequently utilize banner printing as an easy and effective way to create colorful, visually stunning decorations.

Every child present at the Trunk or Treat Halloween Party will receive one pumpkin each to take home.

In order to participate in the event, all parents must pre-register online. The entry fee is $5 for children between ages three and twelve. Four different timeslots are available for families with differing schedules, including 9:30 am to 10:15 am, 10:30 am to 11:15 am, 11:30 am to 12:15 pm, or 12:30 pm to 1:15 pm.

The Trunk or Treat Halloween Party is scheduled to take place at the Harrer Park on Saturday, October 24.
