This August, the Morton Grove Chamber of Commerce will hold the Summer Concert Series for the community to enjoy an evening of summer tunes.
The Morton Grove Chamber is dedicated to serving the community through supporting economic development and advancing local businesses. The Chamber frequently organizes special events to bring the community together, such as the summer concert series, which will allow community members to enjoy musical performances of different bands during the season.
The August event will feature the band Cadillac Groove, a funky blues band that plays everything from soul and R&B to Southern rock and genres in between. The band will be playing be playing crowd favorites while also putting their own unique twist on old classics. Attendees are invited to bring lawn chairs and picnic blankets and lounge in the park as they listen to the concert. The concert series will also feature food vendors for guests' enjoyment. Participating vendors will be Kona Ice and China Chef.
Banners are often used to decorate outdoor spaces at events such as this, and organizers can receive help printing large banners at local Print shops specializing in banner printing.
The free concert is scheduled for Tuesday, August 8. Food service begins at 6:00 pm, and the concert begins at 7:00 pm. It will take place at Harrer Park, which is located at 6250 Dempster Street.
