The 2024 Summer Concert Series in Morton Grove will wind to a close with a blast of classical music from the Classical Blast Band at the end of August.
The concert series has been offering free family-friendly concerts since the beginning of June. These concerts span musical genres from country and pop to R&B, disco, and funk, thereby ensuring that the whole family has something to enjoy. The August concert will wrap up the summer of music with Classical Blast Band taking the stage.
Classical Blast Band takes a unique approach to classical music by blending classical songs from renowned classical musicians, such as Mozart and Beethoven, with rock and pop hits. These musical combinations are often accompanied by the band’s own original lyrics or symphonic elements, lending an even more signature sound to the renditions.
Food and drink will be for sale, with Smilin Dawgs-Chicago Style Hot Dogs as the food vendor. Attendees are welcome to bring their own blankets and lawn chairs to set up in the park.
