Next month, the JCC Chicago in Northbrook, near Morton Grove, will host the Messy Day at the J: Sensory Friendly Edition.
The JCC Chicago provides a range of services, programs, and activities for the surrounding community. These programs and activities include fitness classes, sports, summer day camps, early childhood education, enrichment programs, and accessible and adaptive programming. The Messy Day at the J is one such program that falls into the category of early childhood and accessible programming.
The event is geared more towards children ages 3 to 10, but is open to children of any age. Children will have the opportunity to have fun getting messy with hands-on activities involving Play-Doh, paint, shaving cream, face paint, bubbles, and kinetic sand. The event is also sensory-friendly, and will have a quiet area set up with noise-cancelling headphones and fidget spinners for any children needing to get away from the noise and mess.
Community centers will often have bulletin boards dedicated to advertising different events on Posters and Flyers. Event organizers can visit area Print shops that offer poster printing and flyer printing services to help prepare these materials.
The Messy Day event will take place on Sunday, February 11 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm. The JCC Chicago is located at 300 Revere Drive, Northbrook, just ten minutes from Morton Grove.Get a Free Quote for Flyers Get a Free Quote for Posters Get a Free Quote for Print
