Morton Grove golfers are invited by the city’s Chamber of Commerce to take part in their upcoming 37th Annual Golf Outing Fundraiser, which is scheduled to be held in Chevy Chase Country Club early this fall.
This is one of the Chamber’s largest fundraising activities of the whole year, and a portion of the monies collected will be donated to American Legion Post #134, which supports veterans throughout the surrounding community.
According to the chamber, it will be a fun day of golfing and meeting fellow area businesspeople for conversation and networking. The cost for each foursome has been set at $560 for the day, and this will include the use of a golf cart as well as a special goodie bag, lunch, a buffet dinner, and two drink tickets. Those who wish to purchase a ticket for golf for just themselves or the dinner alone are also invited to do so.
Those who sponsor the event, through either a monetary donation or by providing a gift for the raffle, will be recognized by signage that can be produced by a printing company and is then placed along the course.
The golf outing is set to take place on September 16, beginning at 11:00 am. Anyone who wishes to register or who would like more information is invited to visit the Chamber’s website.
