A performer with focus in Latin music will be going out on tour. One of the shows set for early September is sure to attract a number of Morton Grove residents.
Daddy Yankee was born and raised on the island of Puerto Rico. Music was always a part of his life, due in part to his father being a working musician. Yankee also became one of the first artists to bring the genre known as Reggaeton to a broader audience. His big break in an international market was his 2004 tune known as “Gasolina”. As a partial owner of El Cartel Records, Yankee is also a businessman. A few of his other hits include “Despacito”, a collaboration with Luis Fonsi, “Limbo,” “Problema,” “Pose,” and “La Santa,” a collaboration with Bad Bunny.
The La Última Vuelta World Tour will be coming to the Allstate Arena in Rosemont. Tickets for the event are going for between $175 and $2,800 at the time of writing. Some of the prices are set at a resale value. Merchandise displaying a graphic design related to the performing artist is often sold at concerts, with multiple shopping areas set up in larger sized venues. The doors will open up at 6:00pm with the show kicking off an hour later at 7:00pm. Tickets are available through Ticketmaster. The date for the show is September 4th.
