International ribbers promise tasty treats

The seventh annual Windy City RibFest is taking place this July for three days, presented by Business Partners, the Chamber for Uptown.

Ribbers, who will be coming from as far away as Australia and Texas, while also as close as Chicago, will provide samples of their food to the crowd and maybe share some of their cooking secrets. To entertain visitors throughout the three-day event, there will also be music on the main stage from such performers as Rod Tuffcurls and The Bench Press, Liquid Soul, the Trippin' Billies, and Guitarra Azul. Beer and wine will be available for purchase, while there will also be a kids’ play area.

Vendors will be on hand to sell arts and crafts, and merchandise, while local community groups will be providing information about their services and programs.

Sponsorships are still available for purchase by local businesses.

This event will likely attract visitors from all over Cook County, including nearby Morton Grove. To help advertise events such as these, local Print companies often supply items such as Brochures, Flyers and Posters.

The Windy City RibFest will take place in the Uptown Neighborhood of Chicago, on Broadway between Lawrence and Leland from July 3rd to 5th, beginning at 12:00pm each day. There is a recommended donation of $5. To find out more about this upcoming event, call 773-584-6684.
