Linda McGehee, who recently made a television appearance that Illinoisans may have seen, is the owner of a mail-order notions and sewing company with more than 40 years of experience in sewing. She brings her diverse background to an event that will have guests’ minds and fingers completing new and interesting sewing projects.
For people that enjoy sewing, Linda McGehee is a marvelous seamstress and lecturer. Her ‘Putting the Icing on the Cake’ lecture which will provide all kinds of finishing ideas to complete projects. McGehee has a prize-winning and international reputation and offers a number of lectures each year. A complete list of workshop supplies will be provided at registration.
Her work features some outstanding surface manipulation tips and tricks that will assist guests with creating new and interesting appliqués that can be added to new sewing projects. This meeting is being held for the Northwest Suburban Quilters Guild (NSQG), although everyone is welcome.
Poster printing and postcard printing might have been made use of to promote the appearance of Linda McGehee to members of the group, as well as the public. Admission to this event is $7 and a supply list is available upon registration.
