Fan Fest Chicago is taking place during the first weekend in March, presented by the Wizard World Comic Con, which holds conventions all over the country.
This event is set to feature a wide variety of actors, artists, and creators who will sign autographs for fans, host panel discussions, and pose for photographs. Among the actors confirmed to appear at the festival are Karen Gillan, Tracey Gold, Rick Cosnett, and Andrew J. West. Artists appearing include Buzz, Audra Olivia, Erik Hodson, and Aaron Kambert. Many of the fans who attend will no doubt be ‘cosplaying’, which is the name given to dressing up as their favorite character.
There are also a few VIP events at which selected stars will meet privately with ticket holders, give out autographs, pose for photos, and receive a special trading card of that person. Tickets cost $175 each to get involved in this.

Fan Fest Chicago will be held at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont from March 7 to 8.
