Colorful art class to take place

A local studio will be offering an art lesson to kids and adults alike in early June. This event is sure to entertain Morton Grove residents.

Sunday Family Paint Party is a class hosted by a Bottle & Bottega location of the company Painting With A Twist. In this particular event, guests will learn several painting techniques while creating a beautiful nature piece. This includes blending, layering, and more. Each activity is led by one of the instructors at the studio.

The venue permits those who are of age 21 or older to bring alcohol with them to drink during the class, however, they ask that attendees help maintain a safe and friendly environment while doing so. Identification will be required as well. Minors will need to have someone who is at least 21 with them in attendance. The youngest suggested age is five. Only people who are actively taking part are permitted to stay in the studio. Flyer printing will often be used to promote similar experiences. Food is also allowed, although there is limited space.

The choices for the base of the artwork are a 16”x20” canvas or plank of wood, or a 11”x14” canvas. These cost $39, $49, and $37 respectively. The lesson lasts from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm, and will be at the Park Ridge location on Sunday, June 5.
