The North Shore Merchant Mingle will take place at the North Shore Center for the Performing Arts next month. Admission is free but places must be reserved by calling 847-763-0011 x22.
Approximately 30 retail merchants and 10 restaurants will be showcasing what they have to offer. Guests will be able to shop at the merchants and sample the offerings of the local restaurants. It will be a good chance for those attending to find the perfect gifts to give to their friends or family over the holiday season. It will also give them the chance to sample area restaurants where they might want to have a holiday get-together with their co-workers and friends.
No doubt the merchants, who are likely to come from all over the area, including nearby Morton Grove, will be working with local printing companies to let their customers know that they will be taking part in this annual event. Sending out a flyer to their regular customers will ensure that at least some of them are drawn to the Merchant Mingle. It will also be a good opportunity for new businesses to make their names known in the community, perhaps through flyer printing.
The event is presented by the Chicago North Shore Convention & Visitors’ Bureau, whose website is worth a visit to see what other events in has planned next month, including a farmers’ market and a presentation of Shakespeare’s ‘Hamlet’.
