Car shows return to area for another year

The Monday Night Car Shows are returning to Skokie for the 8th year. The shows will be held every week from late May until September.

All sorts of vehicles are accepted, including muscle cars, antique autos, motorcycles, and even vintage military. More than 400 vehicles are expected to take part in the show, which usually attracts at least 1,500 visitors. Each show will also have a different theme; the one in May will be Memorial Day, while later themes will include Ladies', 60s, and Convertible Nights.

Food will be available for purchase and there will be a weekly raffle. Official merchandise is also for sale either online or at the event.

Admission to the shows is free but donations are gratefully accepted. Sponsorships are also available, and a portion of all proceeds raised will go to provide $500 student scholarships.

Organizers of the car shows will no doubt advertise this event widely in the community, including nearby villages such as Morton Grove. This might involve investing in poster and banner printing services from local companies.
