A group of well-known creatures will be going out on tour. A series of shows over the course of three days are sure to entertain Morton Grove residents.
Sesame Street Live! Make Your Magic is a concert/play featuring several of the most popular characters from the long running television series. In this show, Elmo wants to perform for his neighbors after a highly accomplished magician arrives on the block. The big problem here is that Elmo can’t do magic. Justin and Abby help him learn what’s called “the power of yet.” This means that with practice and motivation, anything can be done. Grover, Cookie Monster, Gonger, Big Bird, Count Von Count, and Rosita will join in on the fun throughout the show.
The event has a running length of about 90 minutes. There is a short intermission between two parts. Still, non-professional cameras are allowed, along with children under the age of 14 being able to dress up in a costume. Tickets range in price from $20 to $179 across each of the seven total shows, everyone aged one or older will be required to have a ticket.
Merchandise with a graphic design relating to the characters is often available at shows like this one. The venue is the Rosemont Theatre. On October 7th there is one show, starting at 10:30am. On October 8th, the three concerts start at 10:30am, 2:00pm, and 5:30pm respectively. October 9th will have three shows as well, at the same times as the ones on the previous day.
