Annual car show has plenty in its tank

The 5th annual Harrer Park Classic car show is being held this month, as a presentation of the Morton Grove Park Districts.

The competition is open to several categories of cars, including Antique (pre 1949), Classic (1950-64), Muscle Car (1963-79), Import (any year), and Sports Car (1980 and later). Prizes will be awarded to the ‘Best in Show’ for each category.

Motorcycles of all years and makes are also eligible to be displayed, but they will not be judged. Vehicle registration is free and can be completed up until this Friday, July 11, and there will be limited space for those who turn up on the day of the show.

Food will also be available for purchase during the event. Guests can also enjoy a musical concert before the winners of the show are announced.

Organizers will probably be advertising this annual show throughout the Morton Grove area. Local Stationery printers can often provide advertising materials such as Flyers to help inform the community of upcoming events like this.
