The Barrington Art Festival is set to be hosted close to Morton Grove next month.
Admur Productions is one of the primary organizers of this yearly art event, in addition to the Village of Barrington. The organization has been focused on promoting art events and festivals in the area for more than 35 years.
The 2021 Barrington Art Festival is open to anyone and admission is entirely free. The event will feature works by over 110 different artists from various locations across the country. Art Forms will include paintings, jewelry, sculptures, ceramics, glass, and fiber works. Restaurants including Big Iron Horse and McGonigals will provide food for event participants.
Visitors from Morton Grove and other communities are also encouraged to bring any artworks that they own but no longer need in order to donate them to The Chicago Furniture Bank at the organization’s booth. The Chicago Furniture Bank will then provide the art to individuals moving from shelters to permanent residences for decorative purposes. To spread the word about similar events, the organizers of festivals regularly use methods such as poster printing to create attractive printouts that will draw the attention and curiosity of passers-by.
The 12th Barrington Art Festival is set to be hosted on Saturday, May 29 and Sunday, May 30 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on both days.
