McHenry County updates flood resource list
The McHenry County website has recently released a resource list for those who have may experience damages related to the rising of the Fox River, which has affected areas such as Algonquin and McHenry, Illinois.
The list provides residents with vital information such as what residents should do in case they find their homes have been flooded, as well as safety tips, volunteer resources for those who want to help the community rebuild once the water levels have receded, and information about how homeowners and business owners can recover important property records free of charge if they have lost them in the flood. There are also business forms and other applications for residents who need to report damages and rebuild their property.
