Seniors in the Lyons area will want to save the date, as a summer celebration is being organized for older individuals in the community.
The Senior Summer Bash, presented by Northern Berwyn Park District, is preparing to welcome seniors in Lyons and the surrounding area to a celebration of warm weather and new friends. The organizers hope to transport attendees back in time with nostalgic tunes, allowing them to dance the evening away with friends and loved ones.
The bash is designed to honor and celebrate the senior citizens in the community in recognition of their efforts to make a difference. The afternoon will feature live music, allowing guests to dance and sing along to the hits of their youth. Interested parties are asked to dress in their finest clothes to add to the fun and atmosphere. Banner printing is a colorful way to make a lasting impression on passersby while welcoming registered guests to the host venue at such celebrations.
Food and refreshing beverages will be available throughout the celebration to ensure all attendees are comfortable. Guests are welcome to bring a date to share the memories with, though all guests must be 55 or older.
The summer celebration will be held at Crystal Sky Banquets in Lyons on Friday, July 18th, from noon to 3:00 PM. Tickets can be reserved online for $30 per visitor.
