Lyons residents who want to get their groove on and explore different styles of dance are in luck, as beginner classes have opened registration in a neighboring town.
The Fall Ball: Beginner Line and Swing Dance Class and Dance Social is coming up this November, giving attendees some introductory lessons in both styles of dance to help them get their feet underneath them ahead of the dance social portion of the evening. The dance is open to any and all interested individuals, and no experience is required to register and show up.
Guests do not need to bring a partner for either the line dance or swing dance class. They are encouraged to put on their favorite boots and country-styled outfit in preparation for an evening of learning and laughter. Flyer printing offers an affordable way to promote events like this in the community through Mailing efforts or bulletin boards in busy areas.
A photo booth will be open at the host venue to give guests a chance to capture keepsakes from the experience with friends. Snacks and light refreshments will also be accessible to keep dancers well-fueled throughout the evening.
The Duet Dance Studio in nearby Brookfield is hosting the dancing event. The doors open at 7:00pm on Friday, November 6. Tickets are available online for $33.85 per participant.
