A festive fun run is being planned for the Lyons area, and runners and individuals looking for a new family tradition are encouraged to save the date.
The Reindeer Run 2024 is nearing its start date next month, and interested runners can begin preparing by dusting off their running shoes, grabbing glowsticks, and choosing a holiday-themed costume. The run will take participants along a two-mile course that runs through the Brookfield Chicago Zoo.
The event will offer a fun run under the lights, with the zoo open exclusively to the participating runners, joggers, and walkers. Registered guests will be among the first to see the lights and holiday decorations that zoo staff have installed to greet the festive season. Printing services are an excellent way to create colorful decorations to enhance guests’ experiences at such events.
Interested parties can register as individual participants or sign up the entire family. Friends and associates are also welcome to attend and enhance the celebrations. The run is being organized by the Brookfield Zoo as a way to bring the community together. Children in strollers are welcome and do not need to be registered.
The run will be held on Saturday, November 16. Registered participants are welcome to begin arriving at 7:00 PM, with the run starting an hour later. Tickets are available for purchase online, starting at $35 per runner.
