Lyons residents should avoid making plans next month, as a highly anticipated community event is on the horizon for the surrounding area.
The 10th Annual Berwyn Brewfest is set to kick off, inviting beer enthusiasts an opportunity to explore the top options from around the Chicago, Illinois, area. The event will celebrate ten years of craft beer industry growth in Lyons and the surrounding towns.
Attendees will have access to several samples of different beers from famous local and regional breweries. Options will include Indian Pale Ales, stouts, and other ale options to fit every palate. Live music will accompany the taste-testing experience to provide more entertainment to the atmosphere.
The live bands will cover several genres, keeping a fun and happy atmosphere alive. Flyer printing is a grassroots method to spread the word about anticipated community events like this. Food vendors will also be at the Brewfest, with options curated to pair well with the beer options.
Beer merchandise will also be offered, with local craftspeople and vendors displaying their wares for interested parties. A t-shirt cannon will be on hand to offer free merchandise between bands.
The Berwyn Park District will host the Brewfest on Saturday, September 14th, starting at 1:00 PM. Spots are limited, and attendees must be 21 or older. General admission tickets cost $65 and are available online.
