CAPA of Joliet organizes local beer walk

The CAPA Beer Walk 2024 is scheduled to take place this October in Joliet.

This annual event allows participants to explore five different backyards, each hosted by a homeowner who offers local craft beers, food, games, music, and unique entertainment. Attendees will be divided into five groups, spending approximately 50 minutes at each venue before moving on to another, creating a diverse and enjoyable experience throughout the day.

This event, organized by the Cathedral Area Preservation Association (CAPA), is a community fundraising effort that helps various local causes including book donations, scholarships, senior services, and holiday gift programs.

Tickets are $50 and a portion of the proceeds will benefit community initiatives. There will also be an additional fee of $5.20. Tickets can be purchased through the Eventbrite listing. Tickets are scarce and participants are encouraged to book early and coordinate with friends to be in the same party. The event will proceed rain or shine. For additional details, interested individuals can visit the event listing.

Parking details and other logistics will be shared closer to the event date. Portable restrooms will be available, and participants are advised to stay with their assigned groups to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone.
