The Wine Thief Bistro and Specialty Wines in Frankfort is currently under construction.
A full-service restaurant, the Wine Thief will have menu items that will change by the season, as well as gourmet desserts. There will be original creations as well as new spins on classic dishes. Boutique wine will be served by the glass and bottle and made available at self-service wine stations. The bistro’s level I sommelier will select a wide range of styles, representation of regions, and varietals. Draft beer will be served and carry-out wine sales will also be available.
A specialty of the bistro will be custom-made charcuterie boards with locally sourced cheeses and meats and other accompaniments made in house. The staff will be able to help guests create a board and an appropriate wine pairing.
Vernon Development and Construction is the general contractor for the bistro. Sheri Law Art Glass, Ltd. will also be part of the project to create memorable art glass and potentially a Logo Design.
Owners of the bistro said that the creative team of Barry Wachtel from Vernon and Sheri law have created an environment for dining that is inspired by texture, glass, art, and stone. This will be a truly unique experience in downtown Frankfort that will bring together community, taste, and beauty.
