The village of Frankfort will be hosting several seasonal events next month.
The first will be the 4th of July Fireworks at Main Park on S. Locust Street. The park will open at 7:00 pm. with entertainment by a DJ at 7:30 pm. There will be food and beverages available for purchase, with fireworks beginning at about 9:15 pm. This event is sponsored by the Frankfort Firefighters Local 4338, the Frankfort Firefighters Foundation, and the village of Frankfort.
Soon after, Movies on the Green will be returning to Breidert Green with the screening of “The Wizard of Oz.” People should bring a chair or blanket so they can enjoy movies under the stars. Movies on the Green is co-sponsored by the Frankfort Park District, the village of Frankfort, and the Frankfort Chamber of Commerce. This movie will be on Tuesday, July 8, starting at approximately 8:15 pm.
Parties in the Park – Foam Party will be held at Stone Creek Park, which is at High Stone Way and Pineridge Drive. This event is free for the entire family and will feature a DJ dance party, activities, games, and more. This is sponsored by Earthrise Energy and Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers, and will be from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm on Monday, July 14.
Such events often rely on poster printing to be promoted throughout a town and neighboring communities.
