The Frankfort Historical Society will be hosting its the annual Candlelight House Walk. The homes to be included in the walk will be in downtown Frankfort, Cardinal Lakes, and Windy Hill, filled with holiday decorations to add to the festivities. There will also be a display of holiday lights in downtown Frankfort.
There will also be an Open House at the Chamber of Commerce, so people can learn more about its activities and enjoy some light refreshments. The Chamber is holding a Toy Drive for Christmas, with toys going to the Frankfort Township Food Pantry. Gifts that are donated can be wrapped or unwrapped.
The museum at the Frankfort Historical Society will also be open for the evening for viewing the exhibits and trying out the homemade Christmas cookies, baked by Village Trustee and attorney in Frankfort, John Clavio. There will also be the famous Wassail of Enrico, donated by Harry D’Ercole Jr. Visitors can also purchase unique gift items at the Museum, including the ornament for 2018, note cards, and Books about Frankfort written by members of the Historical Society.
The Candlelight Walk will take place on Friday, December 7 from 5:00 to 10:00 pm.
