The Frankfort Car Club (FCC) will be hosting its Cruise Nights this summer at Breiderf Green, starting this month.
Cruise Nights will take place from 5:00 to 8:00 pm every Monday night. Larry Claypool, the Secretary of the FCC, said that these displays are open to the public at no charge and there is no registration fee for those who want to showcase their classic vehicles. Local Print shops may get involved in creating Flyers and mailers sent out to residents to encourage them to display their vehicles at such events.
Claypool added that parents are being encouraged to bring their children, describing them as the “future drivers.” They will receive a free Hot Wheels toy just for being at the Cruise Night. There will also be raffles every night, with winners announced at 7:30 pm.
Each night will have its own theme. Among the themes are emergency vehicles such as police and ambulance along with the military; vintage scooter and motorcycles; as well as night dedicated to a brand or model, such as Mustang, Chevrolet, Buick, Cadillac, Ford, Thunderbird, and Lincoln.
The FCC welcomes collector vehicles of all types and includes old and new vehicles, modified and stock vehicles, and trucks and scooters.
Cruise Nights will start next Monday, June 6, and run through Monday, September 26, except for August 29 and September 5 due to the Frankfort Fall Festival.
